The planning, scheduling, coordination, facilitation, and overall supervision of all technical aspects of your meeting or event, falls under the auspices of the Technical Director.
Fullmoon Picture’s roster of Technical Directors are drawn from such diverse backgrounds as professional theater, concerts, movies and television, and industrial events, and understand the importance of seamless integration and total incorporation of all the behind-the-scenes crucial items which make for a perfectly executed experience.
They’ll examine each venue’s floor plans, the electrical and staging limitations unique to each space, any foreseeable building code and / or union concerns, and shares their expertise during the initial brainstorming sessions.
Incorporating their concerns into your vision, they provide CAD designs and technical production drawings to bring it to life, so you know beforehand exactly how your meeting or event will look and function, and make any necessary tweaks or changes.
This crucial groundwork is essential in crafting and budgeting, so as to prevent stoppages, avoid extra costs, or plan alterations that might jeopardize the work.
In that regard, your Technical Director serves as your liaison with the meeting or event site, building a rapport with management and coordinating with Labor Unions. They’ll act as go-between with local fire marshals to ensure proper compliance with all jurisdiction fire and safety codes. And they’ll be your on-site supervision during the proceedings.
Skilled with a working knowledge of all productions disciplines from stage design, scenery and set construction, to lighting, video production and display, and audio, they’ll provide that most important of components: peace of mind!
